Seminar for postgraduate students in civil engineering

In partial achievement of scientific and cultural programme of the school year 2017/2018, with the attendance of Assist. Prof. Akram Shakir Mahmood, head of the department, the Civil Engineering department organized a discussion panel for Masters research students. The event took place in the Central Hall on Tuesday, 12/12/2017.

The event included presentations pertaining to two researches:

1. The first was entitled

Bond Strength of Concrete with Hooked Bars after Exposing to High Temperatures

It was presented by Masters student Muhammad Qasim Mustafa under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Jamal Abdulwahid Farhan and Dr. Zaid Muhammad Kani.

2. The second was entitled

Production and Characterizations of Eco-efficient SCC using Waste Material

and was presented by Masters student Marwa Hamad Muhammad under the supervision of Assit. Prof. Dr.  Abdulkadir Ismael Al-Hadithee and Assist. Prof. Dr. Mahmood Khashi' Muhammad.

Extensive discussion of the students' presentations was made by the Committee and the present faculty members.

The seminar was attended by the head and members of the Scientific Committee, all of the faculty members of the department, a number of faculty members from the Dams and Water Resources Engineering department and
the postgraduate students.
