College of Engineering Council Holds Its Fourth Open Session for the 2025–2026 Academic Year
The Council of the College of Engineering convened today, Sunday, January 18, 2025, for its fourth open session (first section) of the 2025–2026 academic year. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Amir Abdulrahman Hilal, and attended by all council members.
Following a welcoming address to the attendees, the meeting commenced with a discussion of visions and proposals aimed at enhancing the quality of academic outcomes, developing student skills, supporting graduates, and maintaining continuous communication with them, in alignment with the needs and demands of the labor market.
The Council also addressed a number of key issues, including:

Directives of the President of the University, as presented during the fourth session of the University Council.

Items related to the internationalization of the College.

Minutes of the Academic Promotions Committee.
In addition, the remaining items on the Council’s agenda were reviewed and discussed.
