: Two Research Teams Publish Papers in Reputable International Journals

Under the leadership of Assist. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khasha’ Mohammed Al-Ani from the Department of Civil Engineering, two research teams have successfully published two scientific papers in reputable international journals during the current academic year.

1. First Paper
Co-authored with Dr. Marwa Hamad Mohammed, and derived from her PhD dissertation, entitled:
“Sulfate Resistance and Microstructure Changes of Sustainable Self-Compacting Concrete Containing Micro to Nano Waste Materials.”
Published in Engineering, Technology and Applied Science Research, a Scopus Q2 journal with a CiteScore of 2.9.

2. Second Paper
Co-authored by Lect. Saif Saad Mansour from the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development and Lect. Abdulrahman Suhail Mohammed from the Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering, entitled:
“Optimization of Waste Brick and CKD Powders as Partial Replacement of Cement for Sustainable Self-Compacting Mortars (SC-Ms).”
Published in Innovative Infrastructure Solutions, indexed in Scopus Q2 and Clarivate, with a CiteScore of 4.4 and an Impact Factor of 2.4.
