The College of Engineering – Department of Civil Engineering held a graduation ceremony for its students for the academic year 2025–2026, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ameer Abdulrahman Hilal, the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hameed Aswad, a number of faculty members of the department, and with the participation of the students’ parents.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech delivered by the Dean of the College, in which he expressed his pride and appreciation for the graduating students, wishing them continued success and prosperity in their academic and professional careers. This was followed by a speech by the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, who praised the efforts of the students and faculty members and their role in achieving this accomplishment. Speeches were also delivered by a representative of the students’ parents and a representative of the graduating students.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of graduation shields to the graduates, in an atmosphere filled with joy and pride.
