Under the patronage of the Department of Civil Engineering, the Advisory Committee for the Industrial Sector in the department held its first meeting for the academic year
2025–2026 on Tuesday, 17-02-2026, in the presence of the Head of the Department (Assist. Prof. Dr. Hamid Aswad Mohammed) and the Academic Accreditation Committee.
The committee discussed enhancing academic communication through awareness seminars, surveying students’ opinions, and linking the educational process to labor market needs through questionnaires directed to the industrial sector.
It also emphasized the importance of addressing real engineering and design problems in graduation projects, while activating cooperation with relevant authorities to implement applied projects and joint research.
